Community Foundation for the Twin Tiers Holding 5th Annual Meeting Celebration Time
You are invited to join in the festivities. The Community Foundation for the Twin Tiers will be celebrating their Fifth Anniversary at their Fifth Annual Meeting on Thursday, May 29, 2008 beginning at 5:00 pm at the Towanda Country Club on Route 6 East of Towanda. Light hors d’oeuvres will be served.
The featured speaker will be Mr. Bill Somerville, President and Founder of Philanthropic Ventrues Foundation in Oakland, CA. He is nationally recognized as an expert on creative grantmaking. He has consulted at over 325 community foundation in the United States, Canada and the U.K. on effective operations and grantmaking.
In addition, the CFTT will highlight the work of grantees and the County Advisory Boards, recognize the new funds created in 2007 and their donors, and the presentation of the CFTT’s 2007 Fifth Anniversary Annual Report to the Community, “Looking Forward – Giving Back.”
