Keeffe Reward Fund Established at the Community Foundation for the Twin Tiers

The Bradford County Bar Association recently established the Keeffe Reward Fund at the Community Foundation for the Twin Tiers (CFTT) for information leading to the arrest and conviction of a person or persons in connection with the murders of David and Carol Keeffe. This $50,000 reward fund will match the reward offered by the DeSisti & Keeffe law firm.

By establishing their fund at the CFTT, the Bar Association has made it possible for donors to the fund to claim a tax deduction for their gift. The CFTT Board of Directors was more than willing to host the fund since David Keeffe had served pro-bono as the CFTT attorney since its founding in 2001. The CFTT Board of Directors was happy to be able to assist the Bradford County Bar Association in their effort to discover and prosecute the killer(s) of David and Carol Keeffe.

Anyone wishing to contribute to the fund should make their check out to “CFTT – Keeffe Reward Fund” and mail the check to Attorney Wesley Kocsis who serves as the treasurer of the Bradford County Bar Association. His address is 180 N. Elmira St., Athens, PA 18810.

CFTT serves Bradford, Sullivan, and Tioga Counties in Pennsylvania and Tioga County in New York State. It is a purely public charity, incorporated as a non-profit, that has been granted 501(c)(3) status by the IRS. The mission of the CFTT is to continuously improve the present and future quality of life in the counties served by the Foundation.

The CFTT establishes endowment funds from contributions of many individual citizens, corporations, other foundations, other charitable organizations and government agencies for philanthropic purposes. As the endowment funds grow, it uses the earnings from these funds to make grants to organizations or projects that serve identified community needs or are designated by the donor.

Anyone interested in learning more about the CFTT or in establishing a fund can contact the organization by any of these methods: telephone - 570-888-4759; fax - 570-888-2179; email - cftt@stny.rr.com ; or visit the website - www.twintierscf.org.

CFTT is dedicated to making a difference locally "for good - for everTM"
